Staffordshire University is a top rated university in the UK
Designers work on everything from household products to industrial ones, from advertisements to any visual communication, from small to massive projects, for themselves and for large corporations. Every time you buy something a designer has been involved in creating it and promoting it. What you buy may have been made in one country, but has usually been designed in UK, Europe or USA. The net flow of payments for licences and royalties of designs from manufacturing countries such as China to UK is massive. British designers are amongst the leading designers in the world and have developed their expertise in UK Universities such as Staffordshire University.
Now you can experience the advantages of studying design with Staffordshire University in Malaysia. The Degrees offered by APIIT have the same curriculum as at Staffordshire University in the UK. They will develop your abilities to work on your own and in a team in initiating and creating a wide range of products and promotional activities, including advertisements for print, broadcast, and online as well as display packaging and other promotional support tools.
Many of the world’s most iconic and recognizable designs originate in the UK. Think of the UK Union Jack flag to be found on clothing and cars, the easily recognizable MINI car, the London Underground map which has been copied by rail systems around the world and London buses.

Students interested in studying Public Relationsshould be good in languages, like to socialise with people, have an outgoing personality, possess strategic thinking, like to write, organise events, a creative mind, and lots of energy.
A good command of the English language is very important for a successful career in Public Relations. Students need to choose a university where the students speak mainly in English and experience in offering the programme. If you are weak in English, it will be very difficult for you to maintain the image of your company with bad English. You will not be able to write good press releases and copy for the brochures. Coming up with good taglines or campaign ideas for your product or company will be almost impossible. Having a good command of both English and Mandarin would be very advantageous. However, if you are only proficient in Mandarin, you will not be able to get jobs in top multinational or global companies
It is important to choose the best private universities and colleges in Malaysia to ensure that you get the necessary training and skills to succeed in the competitive workforce. Choosing a private university with an English-speaking student environment will help you to improve your language skills. The university should also be equipped with the necessary facilities such as recording studio, photo studio, computer lab and some have Mac Computers. Experienced & qualified lecturers are essential to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the mass communication career.

Public relations is the process of providing information to the public in order to present a specific view of a product or organization. Public relations differs from advertising in that it is less obtrusive, and aimed at providing a more comprehensive opinion to a large audience in order to shape public opinion. Unlike advertising, public relations professionals only have control until the message is related to media gatekeepers who decide where to pass the information on to the audience
Public relations is the professional management of external and internal communications to build the reputation of a company or cause. Today’s PR Specialists work on developing beneficial relationships in cities, governments, corporations, consumers, media, charities and communities to manage the relationships and communication channels.
Public relations (PR) is the way organisations, companies and individuals communicate with the public and media. A PR specialist communicates with the target audience directly or indirectly through media with an aim to create and maintain a positive image and create a strong relationship with the audience.
The PR Specialist uses a wide variety of communication tools and techniques such as the press releases, newsletters, public events, conventions, newspapers, billboards, blogs, social media, websites, TV, radio, etc.
The business world is very competitive and in order to win new customers and keep the existing ones, companies have to set themselves apart from the competition. But they also need to create and maintain a positive public image.
A PR specialist or firm helps them both create and maintain a good reputation among both the media and the customers by communicating in their behalf and presenting their products, services and the overall brand in a positive manner they will remember. A positive public image helps create a strong relationship with the customers which in turn increases the sales.

What is Lembaga Akitek Negara (LAM) and Becoming a Professional Architect in Malaysia
The architecture profession in Malaysia is protected by law. The regulating and governing body of the architecture profession in
Award-winning architecture design from UCSI University
Malaysia is known as Lembaga Akitek Negara (LAM). They govern the entire profession starting from the definition of an architect under the Malaysian Constitution, licensing, practice, acts and enactments as well as education.
The other body that concerns the well being of architects themselves is Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia.
It functions as an association that takes care of its members, organize functions and manages the professional development of an architect from the lowest to highest qualification. Just like Bar exams for lawyers, architects also require certain level of qualification that is a standard worldwide.
The qualifications are known as LAM Part 1, 2 and 3. The equivalent of this is RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), AIA (American Institute of Architects) and RAIA (Royal Australian Institute of Architects).
After graduating with Part 2, a person is known as an architect, and will be able to practice according to the job specification of an architect. This should be the minimum target of anyone pursuing this profession. Anything less is a waste of time.
These qualifications can be obtained in two ways:
Obtaining a fully accredited degree (or equivalent) that carries Part 1 or 2 equivalent.
Sitting for individual exams after obtaining a non-accredited degree for Part or 2.
Part 3 can only be obtained after practicing as an architect for a minimum of 2 years and fulfilling all the project requirements set by LAM.
Fulfilling these needs, the architect will then submit themselves to a series of interviews and exams to determine that they are capable and absolutely qualified. These exams are conducted by Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM).

Architecture is the art of designing the human built environment. Buildings are one of the most visible productions of man, and
Architecture students at UCSI University receive personal attention from their lecturers
vary greatly in design, function, and construction implementation across the globe. The vision that Architects conceive is projected onto the society and the built environment in which they practice.
These conceptions and ideas will inadvertently have profound effects on the built environment, and consequently on the people who interact with that environment.
Architecture is, therefore, an art form, the learning of which requires professional practice, personal artistic development and technical knowledge of building.
The constant dialogue between society and the architect is what produces architecture – as a product and as well as a discipline.
